Job description

Health Care Assistant

Weekends, Evenings and Bank Holidays up to £13.05 per hour

Weekdays, up to £11.50 per hour

Tax free mileage at 35p per mile

Birchwood Homecaring Services Ltd has been providing quality care for the local community for over 21 years, and we have several health care assistant positions available to expand our work in supporting others to live independently at home - whether you are experienced or new to care, we have a place here for you.

All members of the team are wholly supported by our Supervisors and Training Manager on the job, and by the admin team in the office. Our management team are long-established, visible and hands on and always available at the end of the phone.

How we work:

An app on your phone will be updated with your rota, detailing your visits, upon arrival at each call the app will guide you through the visit which may include:

• Help around the home
• Providing personal care i.e help with showering, using the bathroom, dressing etc,
• Meal preparation - hot and cold nutritional meals
• Administration of medication
